Have you recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and are concerned about:
• Becoming more confident in your art therapy practice?
• Gaining the skills and knowledge needed to be a competent art therapist?
• Lacking clarity in your clinical work and needing guidance to improve?
• Navigating ethical challenges without feeling uncertain?
• Struggling to come up with creative ideas for your sessions and feeling frustrated?
If so, this structured ATR supervision group may be right for you.
We take a structured approach, focusing on clear criteria to guide your art therapy practice. Our framework is based on guidelines and core competencies set by the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB).
In this group, you will learn to:
• Identify clinical issues using art therapy with intention and professionalism.
• Develop treatment plans grounded in clear, art therapy-specific reasoning.
• Use industry-standard tools for assessment and treatment in art therapy.
• Build confidence and gain the competencies required to become a Registered Art Therapist (ATR).
We are currently enrolling for the 2024-2025 supervision group. ATR supervision is for those with a master's degree in art therapy and working toward their Registered Art Therapist credential as defined by the American Art Therapy Credentials Board. The ATCB requires all ATR applicants to have had at least 50% of their documented supervision under an ATR-BC. Read more about this group in the supervisor disclosure statement. Download here.
