Spring Advisory PLLC was founded by Shan Ru Lin, ATR-BC, LCPC, ATCS, a licensed clinical professional counselor, board-certified art therapist and supervisor, and EMDR therapist. Our practice provides three core services: psychotherapy for adults, continuing education credit courses for mental health professionals, and ATR-P supervision for art therapists.
Inspired by the symbols of spring water and the season of spring, Spring Advisory embodies purification, growth, and regeneration. We recognize that human potential, like nature, can sometimes lie dormant, awaiting the right moment to flourish. Our mission is to support our community on their journey toward self-care, renewal, and personal growth through our three branches of service: individual therapy, clinical supervision, and online continuing education.
Our psychotherapy practice is trauma-informed and socially conscious, focusing on the intersection of past and present challenges while helping clients build a healthier, more fulfilling future. We specialize in working with individuals navigating complex trauma and marginalized identities, offering a compassionate and evidence-based approach to healing.
Our continuing education courses are designed to address gaps in traditional CE offerings, with a strong emphasis on social justice, diversity, and multiculturalism. Approved by the American Psychological Association, the National Board for Certified Counselors, and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations, these courses reflect the highest standards of quality and accessibility. Founded in 2020, our user-friendly platform allows professionals to learn on their own schedules while engaging with critical and timely topics.
As a leader in the field, Shan Ru Lin brings expertise from high-volume psychiatric settings, innovative art therapy interventions for historically marginalized populations, and board service focused on process improvement and diversity. She has been recognized as an expert in art therapy by the U.S. Department of Labor and continues to advocate for the advancement of mental health care and education.
At Spring Advisory, accessibility and your success are at the heart of everything we do. We invite you to explore our offerings and join us on a path toward growth and transformation.
