Course Description:
Clinicians are invited to participate in this webinar if they have been feeling overwhelmed with current events and are burned out by the work they do. Practical tools for handling your stress levels will be provided. Attendees will be able to immediately implement skills learned to improve their clinical practice and overall well-being. This presentation will go deeper than a discussion on self-care.
Course Learning Outcome Objectives:
1) Attendees will be able to define compassion fatigue and how current event is impacting mental health professionals.
2) Attendees will be able to identify symptoms of compassion fatigue that they may be experiencing.
3) Attendees will develop a self-care plan to help manage symptoms of compassion fatigue and improve their quality of life.
4) Attendees will address concerns related to BIPOC clinicians dealing withmicroaggressions and systemic racism, which also contribute to compassion fatigue.

Natasha Ganesh D'Arcangelo
Natasha is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP). She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, Sarasota. She works with adolescents and adults in her role as a staff therapist for Headspace Health. Her previous experience includes 15 years as an educator, community mental health work and private practice. She has presented on various topics including Destigmatizing Seeking Mental Health Care, Compassion Fatigue and Effective Techniques for Working with Teens. Sheoperates from a cultural humility perspective and is an ally of the LGTBQIA+ community. She is especially passionate about working with clients who are struggling with trauma, grief, depression and anxiety.
How to Get Your CE Certificate After Completing The Course:
Please fill out a course evaluation and pass the post-test exam by 80% score or more. Your certificate will be issued to you after passing the exam. You can retake the exam if you do not pass.
